Ana Karina Santos. La importancia de la conexión entre los seres humanas basándose en la riqueza del espíritu, forma parte del tema que inspiró la obra de arte de Dr. Mahima Gupta, que trata la frase africana Ubuntu, la cual encierra gran significado y cobra sentido en la expo y concurso organizado por la Comunidad Artout Argentina Amigos del Mundo 360, “Arte por Inclusión”.
Mahima Gupta tiene una agenda llena de proyectos sin embargo deja espacio para este tipo de propuestas artísticas que buscan dejar huella en la humanidad. Su colaboración desde los Estados Unidos y representando a la India para esta muestra, consistió en la obra “Conecction” de 21,5 x 27,9 centímetros elaborada en técnicas mixtas.
Sobre su creación la artista detalló: Mi obra de arte se basa en el tema Ubuntu que significa «Yo soy porque nosotros somos». En el que una tribu en África cree que una persona es una persona a través de otras personas. La felicidad proviene de combinar, hacer cosas juntos … de lo que solo tú puedes hacer de un mundo un lugar mejor para vivir. Al igual que la gente de África … Yo también creo que las personas felices y saludables tienen una mejor oportunidad de hacer eso, como tú buscas. trabaja por el bien común porque tu humanidad se hace realidad en la comunidad en la pertenencia.
Destaca además de esta participación ser el Récord Guinnes en este 2021 por compartir en Facebook la mayor cantidad de fotos de personas pintando, alcanzando un total de 797 en una hora. La iniciativa surgió en medio de la pandemia y con el objetivo de visibilizar la labor de artistas en línea dado que las galerías y centro culturales en el mundo aún permanecen con accesos restringidos para cumplir las medidas de bioseguridad, sin embargo, a través de esta propuesta lograron difundir el trabajo de artistas emergentes de diversas localidades.
