La artista Mexicana Gloria López Gavito ha causado gran revuelo y un impacto positivo con su pieza artística KENTE: “Todos somos Iguales”, una pieza elaborada y presentada entre las ganadoras de la Exposición y concurso internacional Amigos del Mundo 360 “Arte por Inclusión”, de la Comunidad Artout Argentina.
Elaborada bajo la técnica mixta del collage, la pieza 85×55 centímetros recoge el sentir de los pueblos en una pieza colorida, en el que resalta un mapa, y en él un hermoso grupo de personas que llena de color y risas toda la obra. Tal y como lo revela Gavito sobre la obra: KENTE “Todos somos iguales a los ojos del señor”. La tela Kente se asocia con la dignidad de la herencia africana. “Feliz es el que camina en el camino de los antepasados”. La gráfica que le da vida a la obra fue tomada de un trabajo efectuado por la artista en Ghana, como parte de una misión odontológica de @pointhope. La también odontóloga manifestó, además: “Allí conocí niños maravillosos que me hicieron sentir que yo estaba incluida en sus vidas aun sin conocerme. Así mismo compartió la obra “Heridas”, pintada sobre papel algodón en una pieza de 37×33 centímetros. “Las heridas provocadas al sexo femenino en el alma, cuerpo y/o los sentimientos no son exclusivas ni limitadas a una raza, creencia, actividad o clase social. A través de los siglos, la mujer ha sido considerada “El sexo débil”, vulnerable y merecedora de abusos en todos los sentidos. Esta obra es un homenaje Incluyente a todas aquellas mujeres que han sido objeto de violencia física, mental o sentimental, refirió la artista.
Oriunda de Mazatlán- México, Gavito es especialista en ortodoncia a tiempo completo, sin embargo, todos sus ratos libres los dedica a la pintura, una actividad que la apasiona. Con respecto a su trabajo artístico señala que trabaja siempre con acrílico, aunque ha experimentado con diversas técnicas, así mismo destacan en sus piezas el abstracto o el arte figurativo. “Me inspiran la vida y los sueños, estos últimos siempre llenos de color, me encanta pintar el caballo que es mi animal favorito, los peces por mi signo piscis y serie de pájaros porque me gusta volar. Así mismo la artista reveló que siempre persevera en sus proyectos para darles forma y hacerlos realidad, esto gracias a su conexión mente cuerpo a través del yoga y su espiritualidad en donde da un primer lugar a Dios.

As Gavito reveals about the work: KENTE “We are all equal in the eyes of the Lord”. This work is an inclusive tribute to all those women who have been subjected to physical, mental or emotional violence, said the artist.
Originally from Mazatlán- Mexico, Gavito is a full-time orthodontic specialist, however, all her free time is devoted to painting, an activity that she is passionate about. Regarding his artistic work, he points out that he always works with acrylic, although he has experimented with various techniques, likewise abstract or figurative art stand out in his pieces. «I am inspired by life and dreams, the latter always full of color, I love to paint the horse that is my favorite animal, the fish for my Pisces sign and a series of birds because I like to fly. Likewise, the artist revealed that she always perseveres in her projects to shape them and make them come true, thanks to her mind-body connection through yoga and her spirituality where she gives God a first place.
